Okay, it’s been almost 3 months since I’ve updated this site. I know you’re probably all having withdrawals, and have been patiently waiting new pictures of the kids. I have added new pictures to the website today, so please click on the “Main Picture Gallery” on the left to see the new pictures. There are only 2006 images there, so if you’ve not been here in a while, you should also check out the 2005 gallery. Keep in mind, oldest pictures are at the top, with newest pictures at the bottom.
The last 3 months have been very busy for us. Rob left in February to go to Warrant Officer school in Virginia. He’s doing very well and is ranked in the top 15 of his class. He’s working hard, but he’s doing a great job, we are very proud of him. He will graduate Thursday May 25th from that school and will then go up to Aberdeen MD to attend another school, thankfully this one only 5 weeks long. We are expecting him to be home Fourth of July weekend and we can’t wait!
We did go out to visit him last weekend, the kids and I flew out there and then rented a car for a few days. It was great spending some time with Rob, but was too short! We will go back again for graduation, and then we’ll wait for him to come home.
The children’s Godmother, Rachel, moved in with us in February. Her husband Casey (Godfather) just graduated Marine Corps boot camp in January, and he’s now away at school in Pensacola Florida. So while he’s gone we asked Rachel is she would move out here with us from Idaho and she did. She helps me tremendously with the kids, and as it turned out I had an opening in my company so I was able to give her a full-time job as my assistant also. She’s doing a fantastic job working with my company and is a huge help to me with the kids. I’m not sure at this point how I would manage without her. We are hoping that after Casey finishes his school, that they get stationed out here!
As if all that wasn’t enough excitement, Damian will turn 3 on the 17th of this month, and Kadence will be 1. Where does the time go? Kadence has just started to walk, taking a few steps at a time. Damian is 99% potty trained now too, and 100% off the bottle. They grow up so fast!
Okay, that’s it for now, hope everyone is doing well.
