Well, tomorrow is the big day!!!! Kadence Sidney Nielsen will be making her arrival into this world hopefully by lunch time tomorrow. I am going in at 8:30am to have my labor induced, so we expect things to move pretty quickly, since they were so fast with Damian. We’re 37 weeks along, same age Damian was when they induced labor with him. Her lungs are mature and they are thinking she could be pushing close to 7lbs. We are so very excited, and can’t wait to hold our newest addition! Hopefully Kadence and I will be home from the hospital by Friday or Saturday, and as soon as I’m able I will post pictures of her on this website for everyone to see.
On another note, Damian turned 2 years old this past Sunday, so that means he and Kadence will have their birthdays 3 days apart. We had a small birthday party here for him. He had a very cute Sponge Bob cake and lots of great presents from family and friends. I don’t have time to post birthday pictures, so I will post them when I return from having Kadence. He had a wonderful time.
One last thing, Rob is finally going to get promoted. His promotion is scheduled for May 2nd. He has finally been released from his doctors care from his November car accident, and he has sent his paperwork up to Marine Corps HQ and we’re just waiting for them to make their final approval. He’s not quite back at 100% yet, but he has made alot of progress in the last few months. He is very excited to be picking up Warrant Officer, and we are all very proud of him. This could mean that the Marine Corps might decide to move us, and we should know if that is going to happen by the end of May. Hopefully they will just let us stay here since he leaves for school February of next year anyway. Since we just moved we’re not wanting to move again so soon, especially with a brand new baby!
