I’m 2 weeks post-op from having my hysterectomy. To say it’s been a difficult recovery would be putting it mildly. Full recovery will take 12-19 months, but the first 90 days is the hardest. I can’t bend over, can’t lift over 5 lbs, can’t take a bath… I could go on. BUT – I’m glad it was only a hysterectomy and nothing worse – since they originally suspected I had cancer. Once I’m fully recovered, all should be good!

Rob is taking 4 weeks off work to be home with me. I don’t know what I would have done without him. He’s been a saint helping me get through this. I am so lucky to have such a great husband! I’ve been spending alot of time working on my beading.

Kids are all doing very well, growing like weeds! They have also been very helpful during my recovery. They don’t quite understand of course, and constantly want to see my incision (I had 18 staples in my abdomen).
