Most of you know already that we opted not to have the foot surgery here in Boise.  If we were to do it here, then the Marine Corps wouldn’t be able to send us to Camp Pendleton California, they would have sent us to 29 Palms California.  We weren’t too keen on the idea of living in the desert!  So, we have chosen to wait until we get to Cali, and then have my foot surgery.  🙂

The movers will be here on the 10th, 11th, and 12th to pack and load our belongings.  We will leave the night of the 12th to drive to California.  Our stuff won’t be there until the 22nd, so we’re going to have a week of no furniture.  Guess that means we’ll have to hang out at the zoo, Disney, the beach, etc!  Won’t be too hard getting us to do that.

We are very excited about the move.  We have rented a very pretty house that we are going to paint, inside and out, to give it some of our personality.  Our new landlord is a Chaplain in the Navy and is super nice!  We are very excited about our new home and we will put pictures of it on the website as soon as we can.

San Diego is a beautiful place, and we’ll be about 30 miles north of there in Oceanside.  We’ve got zoos, amusement parks, shopping, the beach, tons of wonderful things to do with the family.  We extend an open invitation to everyone to come and visit us any time!  Just let us know you’re coming and you’re always welcome!
